ICP Assessment Event

ICP Assessment Event

The Instructor Certification Program (ICP) is a rigorous two-day assessment designed to validate a candidate can meet Cisco’s minimum quality standards for technical skills and technical instruction.

A formal in person process is used to ensure that the candidate selected will provide the highest quality training experience to our customers. Each candidate will be required to sit the lab exam and deliver two presentations.

Day 1: Full day hands-on lab exam
The items selected for certification testing will be based on CCNA RS and CCNP RS content. The certification lab reflects the activities required of participants in the above courses, tasks that might be required to manage the Labs and methods to recover from common errors. Any materials, technologies or configurations presented or implied in the ICND1 & ICND2 courses and the CCNA Certification may be subject to testing. Lab time is limited strictly to total 7 hours.

    Day 2: Presentation Assessment
One presentation can be chosen by the candidate, the other will be selected by the ICP Proctor. Candidates also have the choice of delivering one presentation in a language of their choice by previous arrangement with Cisco Systems. One presentation must be done in English.

ICP Candidates will need to select the location that best meets their availability. Travel cost is expected to be paid for by the CCSI Candidate or by the Sponsored Learning Partner. Cisco will provide the necessary ICP preparation materials and additional information upon ICP reservation confirmation. Cisco will host private ICP events at the Partner Locator based upon Cisco discretion. A minimum of four candidates must attend the event. Please contact icp_support@cisco.com for more information.
